Battle 2.7 — the harbor remembers you
Version 2.7 is about coming back. The game now has player accounts — deliberately minimal ones: a name, a password, done. No email, no confirmation loop, nothing to verify. Registering takes ten seconds, and playing without an account works exactly as before — both are first-class citizens. Your settings now live on the server and follow you between sessions and devices.
Time got rules too: chess clocks and a blitz mode, plus matches played to X wins for evenings that need a winner. Tournaments were rebuilt around personal player codes, with an organizer password and automatic results — the bracket now takes care of itself.
And the game finally greets you properly: there’s a landing page at the door instead of a bare board. Small thing, but a harbor should have a waterfront.
